AYUBOWAN-! Welcome to Sri Lanka, the land like no other and 11 days of explorations giving you the opportunity to touch all highlighted spots in Sri Lanka. DAY PLAN: Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel. The first destination will be Negombo coastal town, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food and fun. For day one we haven’t planned any activity, thus you are free to arrive in Sri Lanka at any time. If your flight arrives early in the day, relax on the beach and pool of your cosy hotel. Evening, you may have a walk along the seashore while enjoying the beautiful sunset and the pleasant evening atmosphere of the beachside.

DAMBULLA/CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR

Sigiriya
Upon arrival at Dambulla, you'll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside. It is a great opportunity to get close to unique local culture & life style of Sri Lankan people. It will start with a Tuk Tuk ride and a catemaran boat ride across the lake before reaching the farmer’s house where you will experience a Sri Lankan curry cooking demostration & authentic countryside food.

Thereafter, visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (UNESCO World Heritage Site). In 1070 King Vijayabahu chose this place as his kingdom, one of the most ancient in the history of Sri Lanka. Cycling through Polonnaruwa antique locations is a wonderful experience.

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
Afternoon, you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site) since it’s the best time to witness and capture the beautiful scenery of sunset from the summit. King Kasyapa (477 – 495 AD) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Known as one of the wonders of the world due to the amazing architecture & technology being used.

GOLDEN CAVE TEMPLE / HISTORICAL KANDY

Dambulla Cave Temple
En route to Kandy, visit the Royal Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Dambulla has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and significant historical drawings.

Royal Botanic Gardens Peradeniya
Thereafter, you will visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, one of the best botanical gardens in Asia. It attracts 2 million visitors annually and it is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres.

NUWARA ELIYA TEA PLANTATIONS AND WATERFALLS

En route to Nuwara Eliya, while driving through the cold and misty hills that host lush green tea plantations, stop at a tea factory to observe the rich tradition of making Ceylon tea kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.

The Nine Arch Bridge, a major tourist attraction in Ella, is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without using a single piece of steel.

Ravana Ella Falls
Afterwards, depart from Ella towards Yala National Park. En-route, visit Rawana waterfall, one of the most popular sightseeing attractions in Ella. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country; in fact, this waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft).
