Upon arrival at Colombo CMB Airport, you will meet and greet by the tour leader and then will be transferred to your hotel. The first destination will be Negombo coastal town, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food and entertainments. For day one we haven't planned any activity, so you will have a relaxing day at Negombo beach or by the pool of your cosy hotel. Evening, you may walk along the seashore while enjoying the beautiful sun setting and the pleasant evening atmosphere of Negombo beach.
Upon arrival, step back in time as you explore the sacred city of Anuradhapura. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Once the heart of Sri Lanka’s first kingdom, this grand ancient capital was ruled by 113 kings over more than 1,000 years. This showcases its lasting significance.
After breakfast, it’s time to trade ancient stone temples for soft white sands as we make our way east to the tropical shores of Pasikudah, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful and peaceful beach destinations.
Enjoy the day at leisure on the beach, where you can relax by the shore, soak up the sun, or take a refreshing swim while enjoying the peaceful coastal atmosphere.
Your first stop is Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive archaeological cities in South Asia.
Afterwards you will enjoy a wonderful afternoon safari.
Today visit to the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most striking landmarks. Rising nearly 200 meters above the jungle, this massive rock became a palace in the 5th century under King Kasyapa. It features water gardens, mirror walls, and beautiful frescoes that remain today.
On the way to Kandy, stop at the stunning Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.
You’ll visit the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites globally.

In the morning, visit the Natural Gems and Gemological Museum, where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s renowned gemstones and view a fascinating collection of precious and semi-precious stones.
Afterwards, stop at the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. This is one of Asia’s top botanical spaces. Walk through carefully arranged gardens.
In the morning, you will enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu-oya station to Ella village. It is known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world (Train tickets will be arranged at the station / Class category is subject to availability).
When you arrive in Haputale, go to the famous Haputale Viewpoint, where the world appears to drop away into a sea of green. On a clear day.
Before hitting the road, take a final stroll through the charming village of Ella, a hill country haven loved by travelers for its breathtaking views and relaxed atmosphere.

Thereafter, proceed to the airport in time for your return flight or we drop you back to your hotel in Colombo or Negombo.
