The Annapurna Circuit Trek (12 days) is a classic Himalayan journey through diverse landscapes, from lush valleys to arid highlands, circling the majestic Annapurna Massif. Starting in Besisahar or Jagat and ending in Jomsom, the trek crosses the dramatic Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) — the highest point of the route.

    Drive to Dharapani by Private Jeep (1,960 m) – 7 hours

    After breakfast, drive westward through scenic countryside and along the Marsyangdi River valley. Reach Dharapani by private jeep. Overnight stay in a teahouse.

    Trek to Chame (2,710 m) – 6 hours

    Start trekking through pine and fir forests, with stunning views of Lamjung Himal. Pass Timang village and arrive at Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. Overnight in a teahouse.

    Trek to Pisang (3,300 m) – 6 hours

    Trek along steep, narrow paths with dramatic scenery. Cross over suspension bridges and reach Pisang, where you’ll see the landscape begin to change. Overnight in Upper or Lower Pisang.

    Trek to Manang via Upper Pisang Route (3,540 m) – 7 hours

    Follow the Upper Pisang trail for better mountain views. Pass through Ghyaru and Ngawal, enjoying panoramic vistas of Annapurna II, III, and IV. Arrive at the Tibetan-influenced village of Manang. Overnight stay.

    Acclimatization Day in Manang

    Take a rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Explore local monasteries or hike to Gangapurna Lake or Ice Lake for stunning views. This day helps prevent altitude sickness. Overnight in Manang.

    Trek to Yakkhark / Ledar (4,200 m) – 5 hours

    Leave behind Manang’s green valley and ascend to the drier, rockier terrain. Trek past yak grazing pastures and arrive at Ledar, with views of Chulu West. Overnight stay in a teahouse.

    Trek to Thorong High Camp (4,900 m) – 5 hours

    Steep climb to Thorong High Camp through rugged terrain. Take it slow to adjust to the high altitude. Rest and prepare for the next day’s big pass crossing. Overnight in High Camp.

    Cross Thorong-La Pass (5,416 m) and Trek to Muktinath (3,800 m) – 8 hours
