    Nairobi to Masai Mara

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Your tour starts with a 7:30 AM pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a drive to the Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch, and then depart for an afternoon game drive. After the game drive, we head back to the lodge/camp, arriving around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge. Note: The last 1-hour drive to Masai Mara is on a corrugated and bumpy road and may not be comfortable for clients with back problems. Clients with back problems can consider flying directly to (and out of) the Masai Mara.

    Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

    Masai Mara National Reserve

    Today's itinerary is flexible; you can discuss it with your guide the previous evening and plan today's schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast or depart for full-day game drives around 7:30 AM with a packed lunch, returning to the lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM for an early morning game drive (the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt/kill). Later, return to the accommodation for breakfast, relax for a bit, and depart on an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot for a packed lunch and later depart on a game drive until the park closes. Around 4:00 PM, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

    After a relaxed breakfast, head back to Nairobi. Upon arriving in Nairobi in the evening, you will be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel.
