2Schilthorn Piz Gloria
Piz Gloria sits at an altitude of 2970m surrounded by nearly 200 peaks, partly alpine, in the center of an intact alpine world. Like an icon, this unique construction rises to the top of the Schilthorn. The view of the circular panorama is breathtaking: majestically, the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and other peaks of the Bernese and Valais Alps rub shoulders. On the northern slope, you can admire the sparkling blue Lake Thun, the picturesque Mittelland and the Jura chain. Explore the skyline platform with a unique view

Between October 1968 and May 1969, the Schilthorn was the main location for the filming of the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". The revolving restaurant served as a hideout for the evil Blofeld and was given the name 'Piz Gloria' in the film which has stuck with it to this day. In Bond World, the interactive exhibition dedicated to the film, visitors are immersed in seven key scenes in the filming and the anecdotes relating to it. They learn details about the filming, can admire the original script and try out various feats à la 007. A descent in a bobsleigh at dizzying speed and a flight in a helicopter simulator in the original cabin of an Air Glaciers Alouette III guarantee thrilling minutes. Exciting anecdotes about the shooting, told by participants and natives, as well as articles from the media of the time are also not lacking.
