    Prasat Beng Mealea

After Phnom Kulen, we’ll head over to Beng Mealea. This is an interesting Hindu temple because it also contains some Buddhist motifs. The history of Beng Mealea is unknown, but it is smaller copy of Angkor Wat. Therefore, it’s thought that it was built roughly at the same time Angkor Wat was built. Beng Mealea is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a popular place to visit. However, many guests in Cambodia don’t make it to Beng Mealea due to its distance from Siem Reap town. Therefore, you can explore this majestic temple is relative peace and quiet when compared to the famous Angkor Wat.
