1Lake Patzcuaro
Patzcuaro lake was populated from Pre.columbian times and the local Purepecha civilization was developed there before the Spanish came to conquer the west of Mexico. Take a boat ride to Janitzio Island and reach the statue of Morelos on top, besides a stop at the local cemetery where the colorful decorations of altars and offerings will remain. Enjoy lunchbreak after the boatride!
