An excursion to Shakespear Regional Park from Auckland CBD commences with an approximate 50-minute drive. Upon arrival, the planned activity involves a 40-minute walk along a designated trail leading to a key lookout point, notably traversing sections of active sheep farmland en route. This walk culminates in reaching a vantage point offering exceptional panoramic views over the surrounding harbour and extending towards the distant Auckland city skyline, providing a significant scenic reward for the moderate physical exertion.
A trip is planned to Long Bay Regional Park, home to one of Auckland's longest beaches. You can enjoy the beach views and also take a walk on the popular Long Bay coastal trail for more scenery.
Following the completion of the extended walk, a refreshment break is scheduled. This interlude will take place at a highly-regarded café located in the Browns Bay town centre.
