Chulu East Peak Climbing trip is interesting as it goes through an Annapurna Conservation Area. The Conservation area is rich in natural and cultural diversities, the jaw-dropping landscape of snow-clad cliffs in the background. The trek continues through the Yak pastures above the beautiful settlement of Manang. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) authorizes the peaks climbing permit through government registered trekking companies only. After your successful summit of Chulu East, you will make your way up through the Throng La Pass (5416m) then down into the spectacular Muktinath valley. The next day we descent down to Jomsom and then takes a scenic flight to Pokhara.

What to expect

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing around UNESCO listed World Heritage Site

Day 03: Drive to Syange 1,140m via Besisar - 06 hrs.

Day 04: Trek to Dharapani 1,943m - 06 hrs.

Day 05: Trek to Chame 2,720 m - 05 hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Pisang 3,190 m - 05 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to Julu 3,900m - 06 hrs.

Day 08: At Julu for acclimatization.

Day 09: Trek to Chulu Base Camp at 5,300m - 04 hrs.

Day 10: Rest day at Base Camp preparation and acclimatization.

Day 11: Climb of Chulu East and return to base camp.

Day 12: Trek to Manang 3,540m - 05 hrs.

Day 13: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,210 m - 04 hrs.

Day 14: Trek to Thorang- La High Camp or Phedi 4,450 m - 04 hrs.

Day 15: Cross Thorang La 5,416 m / 17,769 ft and trek to Muktinath 3,800m-06 hrs.

Day 16: Trek to Jomsom 2,713 m - 04 hrs.

Day 17: Fly to Pokhara 860 m - 22 mins and transfer to hotel.

Day 18: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
