Beginning near the National Archives, guests learn about John Wilkes Booth’s movements on April 14, 1865. From there, the tour follows Booth’s path along Pennsylvania Avenue toward 10th Street, retracing the route he took just hours before the assassination. Guests will explore and learn about the history at notable sites such as the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington House at Arlington Cemetery, the former National Hotel, the historic Willard Hotel, and the former Mathew Brady Photography Studio.
