  In the morning, your guide will greet you at your hotel lobby at the pre-agreed time. Then let’s set out to witness thousands of grotesque karst peaks in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

  BaiLong Elevator

  Upon arrival, ride the Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest cliffside sightseeing lift, which will whisk you to the summit in 88 seconds and allow you to have a first view of the karst pillars.

  Get out of the elevator to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where you can feast your eyes on the extraordinary sights like the ‘Avatar’-filmed Hallelujah Mountain, Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and No.1 Bridge under Heaven. Pack some snacks to keep your energy up, or have a self-funded lunch. Dining options on the mountain are limited, and the local dishes are quite salty and spicy, so the fast food outlets like Dicos in Yuanjiajie and McDonald’s at Tianzi Mountain would be better choices.

  In the afternoon, take the eco-bus of the park to Yangjiajie Scenic Area, featuring dozens of naturally formed peak walls collectively known as the Natural Great Wall.

  Tianzi Mountain

  Admire more odd-shaped peaks soaring into the clouds, including the Imperial Brush Peaks, Flower Fairy Peaks, and Commanding Terrace. Afterward, get down the mountain by cable car.

  Your Zhangjiajie day tour comes to an end, and your guide will escort you back to your hotel. Important note: A private tour will be offered exclusively for you if you have 7 people or more.
