    Bangkok: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Grand Palace, and Wat Arun

    After breakfast, our guide will lead you to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in the western suburbs of Bangkok. The river is alive with the boats laden with tropical fruits and local specialties.

    Next, we’ll head back downtown to visit Bangkok’s most splendid royal complex, the Grand Palace. Walk through the grand labyrinthine complex with golden roofs and admire its iconic halls and temples, among which you can’t miss Wat Phra Kaew, north of the Grand Palace, famous for its precious emerald Buddha statue.

    Finally, you will board a traditional long-tail boat and cruise along the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). Within 1 hour, you’ll encounter the iconic Rama VIII Bridge and the Big Buddha statue of Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen. And then go ashore to visit this historic temple built in memory of the Thai national hero Taksin, the 41st king of Thailand, and its five remarkable stupas. Today’s guided sightseeing will end here and you will be transferred to the hotel.

    Drive to Ayutthaya, Visit Wat Mahathat, Chao Phraya River Cruise back to Bangkok

    After breakfast, we will drive to Ayutthaya, Thailand’s ancient capital and a World Heritage site. Our first stop is Wat Mahathat, a sacred site once home to 209 pagodas and 10 monasteries.

    After that, the guide will lead you to another famous temple, the Wat Phra Si Sanphet, as well as the Muslim Quarter. Then, we will visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit to appreciate its giant bronze Buddha statue - Phra Mongkol Bophit, and Wat Lokayasutharam which features the largest reclining Buddha statue on the island of Ayutthaya.

    Following the spiritual exploration, you’ll be transferred to the Wat Chong Lom pier, boarding the luxurious Grand Pearl cruise (join-in) back to Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River.     Fly from Bangkok to Chiang Rai: Wat Phra Kaew & Wat Phra Singh

    This morning, our guide and the driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport for a 1.5-hour flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, our local guide and a driver will be waiting for you at the airport to escort you to a comfortable hotel in downtown Chiang Rai.

    In the afternoon, the guide will lead you to Chiang Rai’s Wat Phra Kaew, where the revered Emerald Buddha was originally discovered, before relocating to Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok. You can admire a replica of the Emerald Buddha, which was delicately carved from a piece of exquisite Canadian green jade in 1991 to commemorate the Queen Mother’s 90th birthday.

    Chiang Rai: Mae Sai Border, Golden Triangle and Mekong River Cruise

    Today, after driving through the rugged mountain roads of northern Thailand for 1 hour, we will arrive at the famous Golden Triangle at the junction of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. ★ Mekong River Cruise: Journey through Thailand, Laos and Myanmar: Then the guide will invite you to have a boat trip along the Mekong River. Within 30 minutes, you’ll have a quick view of the stunning scenery of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.

    Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai: White Temple, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang

    In the morning, we will drive for about 3.5 hours to Chiang Mai, another famous city in northern Thailand beside Chiang Rai. On the way, we’ll stop to visit Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Unlike many of Thailand’s temples steeped in history, Wat Rong Khun features modern aesthetic and meticulous carvings. Our guide, who is very good at finding the perfect spot for shooting this temple, can help you take a perfect couple photo.

    Next, we will continue our drive to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, have lunch and take a short break, and then we’ll explore the old city of Chiang Mai, where ancient city walls and temples stand as a witness of history.

    Pai to Mae Hong Son: Bamboo Raft through Tham Lod Cave, Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu

    After breakfast, we will depart from Pai to Mae Hong Son, home to diverse hill tribes. After an hour’s drive, we will arrive at the Tham Lod Cave, our first stop. Stalactites and stalagmites rising to 20 meters (66 ft.) invite you to explore such awesome natural masterpieces. Without an electric lighting system, this mysterious experience will be enhanced by the kerosene lamp held by our guide. Don’t forget to use the flashlight of your phone to illuminate those peculiar rock formations. Are you ready to step into a prehistoric adventure? A bamboo raft will take you to the third cave, which offers a more thrilling atmosphere with countless bats flying above and black catfish gliding beside.

    Then, a 2-hour drive up the mountain will take us to the next destination, the Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu. This temple blends the Myanmar and Northern Thai architectural styles, characterized by two enchanting white pagodas.
