This is a great place to view Nepalese temple buildings as it is filled with more than 50 ancient architectures built between the 16th and the 19th centuries, including Kumari Temple, also named "Temple of the Living Goddess". You will also visit a local market for a glimpse of real Nepalese life. The place is crowded with vendors selling vegetables, spices, and daily necessities.
Then visit the Swayambhunath Temple. Standing high on a hill-top, Swayambhunath is one of the best temples in Nepal. The awesome city view from this temple is definitely a bonus for your visit.
