All travelers will be picked up at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
When your flight lands at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, your experienced English-speaking driver guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to check into the hotel. After that, you'll take a Casablanca excursion to visit the Old Medina, Sacred Heart Cathedral (exterior), Square of Mohammed V and Hassan II Mosque.
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby for your departure to Rabat, the imperial capital of this country.
Upon arrival, you will be guided to visit the Royal Palace from outside. This is a typical Arabic architecture and primarily serves as a political conference center.
After that, head to the Hassan Tower, which hasn't been completed since 1196. Currently, there are only stone pillars left due to frequent earthquakes and the lack of funds.
Later, continue to visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V.
Finally, visit the Oudayas Kasbah. It is a complex of castles, characterized by its picturesque garden, museums , and high platforms for overlooking the seascape. You can enjoy a cup of Moroccan coffee while admiring the beautiful Atlantic Ocean here.
In the morning, transfer you to Fez. En route, visit Meknes, one of the four imperial cities also known as the “Black City”. In Meknes, you will visit the Gate of Bab Mansourt, with colorful and exquisite mosaics and many verses engraved to praise it. Next, visit the El Hedim Square, Dar Jamai Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which are among the few sacred sites in Morocco that are open to non-Muslims. Later, you'll be taken to visit the Royal Stables.
After lunch, continue driving for about 30 minutes to the most famous ancient Roman site in Morocco, the Ruins of Volubilis. A professional guide will make an interpretation of the World Heritage site during our 2-hour visit.
Afterwards, you will arrive at the ancient city of Fez, which is about a 1.5-hour drive away.
Your local guide will lead you to the Old Medina from the gate of Bab Boujloud, which dates back to the end of the 8th century. Then visit the well-known Chouara Tannery, located in a large courtyard. You can go to the observation deck on the third floor to get a breathtaking view of the Chouara Tannery. Keep visiting two Koran schools, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Attarine Madrasa, where you will be amazed by the mosaic art of Islamic architecture and the peaceful atmosphere. The Adjacent Kairaouine Mosque & University is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest university in the world. Afterwards, visit the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and Souk Nejjarine.
After breakfast, transfer to Merzouga, the entrance to the Sahara Desert. Along the way, pass through the magnificent Middle Atlas Mountain and Ifrane, a red town known as Switzerland in Africa, and stopover there to take pictures.
Keep driving for 3 hours and reach Midelt, about halfway through the journey to Sahara Desert. You can have lunch here, as your driver-guide will recommend some good restaurants.
After lunch, continue driving you for 3 hours and 40 minutes to Merzouga. Upon arrival, take a 4x4 off-road vehicle to your camp in Sahara Desert.
Enjoy the desert sunrise at dawn, then return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, leave for Skoura Oasis. First reach the Todra Gorges in about 3 hours’ drive. For eons, the Todra and Dades Rivers have been scouring the ranges of High Atlas Mountain, creating cliffs and gorges up to 300 m (984 feet) high. Today's lunch will be at a traditional Berber home, where you will be served with authentic Berber dishes.
Then pass the Dades Gorges and Roses Valley on the way, and stopover for a photo shoot.
Continue driving for 3 hours to the destination today, Skoura, a historic oasis with large stretches of Palmeraie, scattered villages and numerous Kasbahs. Overnight at the Kasbahs hotel of local features.
After breakfast, drive you to Marrakech. After about 1 hour of driving along the route of a 1000 Kasbahs, stopover at Ouarzazate and visit the Atlas Corporation Studio, the Hollywood of Africa.
Another highlight today is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This Moroccan village is famous for its breathtaking view of earthen houses and walls.
After that, continue driving for about 3 hours to Marrakech, stopping over at Telouet Kasbah and Tizi n’Tichka Pass for photo shooting. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to Old Medina in a horse carriage ride. First, you will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the landmark and the tallest architecture.
Later, visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, which is embellished with a variety of Islamic patterns and decorated with mosaic collage tiles, making it exquisite and elegant.
Afterwards, visit the Saadian Tombs, well-known for its eye-catching architecture with carved wooden ceilings.
Next, visit the largest Koran academy in North Africa, the holy Ben Yousself Medersa.
The rest of the day is free for you. You can visit the Jemaa el-Fna Square, perhaps the busiest night market in the world, with more than 3,000 stalls serving almost all snacks from the entire Morocco. Finally, the horse-drawn carriage will take you back to your hotel.
Visit Jardin Majorelle. Ladies who love beauty, your favorite lipstick color may have just been discovered or derived from this garden.
Then visit the nearby Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
After the visit, you will be transferred to the airport in Marrakech according to your return flight. For your information, it takes approximately 15 minutes to drive to Marrakech Menara Airport and 3 hours to Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport.
