    Your guide will show you around the Angkor National Museum to learn about the Khmer culture in different periods and lay the foundations for the trip.     After having lunch, we will drive you for about one hour to an off-the-beaten site, Beng Mealea, a green kingdom lost in the primeval jungle as well as a paradise for photographers. Built from late 11th century to early 12th century during the period of Suryavarman II, this Hindu temple was dedicated to Lord Shiva and was the first temple in Angkor complex built entirely of sand and stone.

    Please check out of the hotel this morning. Your guide and driver will come to meet you and then transfer you for about 40 minutes to the Tonle Sap Lake, where you will take a boat trip to explore the floating villages.
