The spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, the sacred stupas of Bagan, a stunning sunset at U Bein Bridge and the charming Indein Village on Inle Lake, are all must-see sights included in this spiritual journey.
We will pick you up and see you off at the Yangon airport.
Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and a break.
After breakfast, you will be escorted to visit Chaukhtatgyi Buddha, also known as Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda. You will be amazed by the enormous reclining Buddha with a height of 16 meters and a length of 65 meters.
Next, you will head to the center of the city to visit the Sule Pagoda, which is built 2,500 years ago. You will learn about the Buddhist legend about this pagoda from your guide as you enjoy its beautiful structures.
Then you will have a leisurely stroll in the Maha Bandoola Park to enjoy a peaceful moment. Afterward, you will be guided to explore the vibrant Indian Town and Chinatown with colorful buildings.
In the late afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda, a dazzling Buddhist pagoda considered one of the oldest pagodas worldwide.
In the morning, your driver will take you to the Yangon airport, where you will take the flight to Bagan. On arrival, you will be picked up by your local guide and be transferred to your hotel.
After a short break, you will be escorted to visit Nyaung U Market to get a taste of the local lifestyle. You might find some vegetables and fruits that you have never seen.
After the exploration, you will head to the 11th-century Shwezigon Paya, one of the holiest stupas in this country that is believed the inspiration for the most pagodas of Myanmmar.
The last temple you will visit today is Shwesandaw Pagoda, the highest pagoda of this city. Its imposing stairs and symmetrical structures really worth a visit. After this, you will have a boat cruise to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
In the morning, you will first be guided to visit Ananda Temple, one of the four main temples of Bagan. On arrival, you will be attracted by the gargantuan gilded walls and wonder at the exquisite carvings and ancient frescos inside.
Next, you will explore the tallest temple of Bagan - Thatbyinnyu Temple, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a beautiful 21-story pagoda with a history of over 860 years.
For a change, you will then visit a Hindu temple - Nanpaya Temple, where you will learn about the Hindu architectural elements and the history of the Bagan Dynasty.
Afterward, you will be guided to visit the 11th-century Manuha Temple featuring the three huge Buddhas - one in the reclining posture and two in the sitting position.
Next, you will explore a lacquer-ware workshop to see the fine Burmese-style lacquers. And then head to admire the marvelous mural painting in Gubyaukgyi Temple. After the visit, you will continue to Myinkaba Village to meet a different lifestyle.
The last stop today is Pyathatgyi Temple, a double-cave type monument that will lead you to explore more of the architectural art of the dynasty of Bagan.
In the morning, you will be escorted to the airport and take the flight to Mandalay. On arrival, you will be picked up by your local guide and be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
After a short break, you will be guided to visit Mahagandayon Monastery, the largest monastery and a famous Buddhist College in Myanmar. The monks here seriously follow the Buddhist discourses of not take food after midday, and eat two meals a day at 04:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. At around 10:00 a.m. every morning, thousands of monks will line up along the road and walk in the monastery for collecting alms-food and having the meal. The spectacle is definitely a lifetime scene. Later, you will pass by the City Harbor Bridge and take some photos of the beautiful scenery.
Coming out from the nunnery, you will dive deep into the verdurous Sagaing Hill, a tranquil hill dotted with over 600 temples. Rambling on the gravel roads, and embraced by fresh air, mingled with the scent of incense occasionally, you will feel the serenity and indulge in the beautiful landscape. Climbing to the upland, you will enjoy a mesmerizing panoramic view of the hill.
At the end of the day, you will come to U Bein Bridge and enjoy a cruise. Built in the Konbaung Dynasty, the bridge is the longest teakwood bridge in the world and has been standing across the Taung Tha Man Lake for over 160 years. The fascinating sunset on the boundless lake will round off your day tour with picturesque scenery.
In the morning, a 1-hour boat cruise will bring you to the next stop - the ancient Mingun city, famous for the ruined Mingun Pahtodawgyi.
On arrival, you will first be guided to explore Mingun Pagoda, a massive unfinished stupa looking mysterious and holy.
Next, you will visit the well-preserved and heaviest bell in the world - Mingun Bell, which is still functioning. You can get very close to admire its wonderful structures and also try to ring it. After seeing the bell, you will also explore the nearby elegant Settawya Pagoda.
Next, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful pagodas in Myanmar - the 200-year-old Hsinbyume Pagoda, which features its pure white structures and wavy walls, which make it look like a building in a fairytale.
Then comes a must-see in Mandalay - the Mahamuni Pagoda, a famous pilgrimage site for the Buddhists. You could see the majestic Buddha sculpture covered with golden leaves and enjoy the extricate carvings of the structures.
Next, you will explore the beautiful Shwenandaw Kyaung built over 140 years ago. You will find that every inch of the walls deserved a close look: the teak carvings, portraying the Buddhist myths, are really fine and vivid.
Then you will continue to the Kuthodaw Pagoda to learn more about Buddhism. Here you will see the 'world's largest book' - 729 white stupas carved with Buddhist scriptures.
After the visit, you will be guided to climb atop Mandalay Hill to round off today's tour with a stunning sunset.
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Heho. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and be escorted to Inle Lake by a 1-hour private drive.
After a break, you will be taken to visit the splendid Hpaung Daw U Pagoda, where you will enjoy the golden tops, intricate sculptures, and the five gilded Buddha images covered with golden leaves. Then you will be taken to a local village, where you will get close to the unique lifestyle.
A boat trip on Inle Lake is scheduled in the morning. On the way to the port, you will be taken to visit a local market. The boat will finally arrive at Indein Village, where you will see some untouched ancient ruins including spectacular pagoda and forest of ancient stupas. The afternoon is free for you.
You will take a morning flight from Heho airport to Yangon. Your local guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.
Later, walk into the Bogyoke Aung San Market, which is the largest market in Yangon, built during the British colonial period. There you can see piles of antiques, gold and silver jewelries with Burmese national characteristic.
