  At 8:00, your private guide will pick you up at the hotel you booked on your own and then escort you on a private transfer to Badaling Airport. There, you will be briefed about the itinerary and guided into a R44 helicopter, which can hold 3 visitors at a time with big windows to provide excellent visibility. For 15 minutes, you will fly at lower altitudes over Badaling Great Wall and take in its major area - the ramparts, watchtowers and beacon towers scattering on it in contrast with wild nature around.

  The Great Wall at Badaling

  After the flight, enjoy a guided hiking tour of the Badaling Great Wall. The scenic area is divided into north and south regions and we will select a classic route for you to tick off as many highlights as possible without taking too much energy. A hiker, a sightseer, fun seeker, or a photographer? You can also tell your interests and needs for us to craft a route until it suits you best. On the Wall, you will find a different vista at each turn and delve into related history and intriguing facts with your guide.

  It’d be into afternoon after we get off the Wall. Maybe prepare some snacks in advance to refuel your energy a little and have your lunch in downtown. To round your time off with us, on your way back to your hotel we will have a photo stop by Bird's Nest and Water Cube, the visually-striking stages for 2008 Beijing Olympics with appearances alluded in their names.
