We provide airport pickup and drop-off if your arrival and departure time are within our recommended hours. We suggest you arrive on the first day before 2PM and depart on the last day after 8PM. If you decide to stay longer, we can also drop you off at your Chengdu hotel on the fourth day.

After an early breakfast, we'll visit Leshan's famous Giant Buddha. After viewing these wonders, your guide will lead you through a food tour of Leshan's cuisine. Then we'll head straight to the airport for an evening departure.
You are welcome to arrive at any time. We suggest an earlier arrival to give you some free time in the city to visit the Wenshu Monastary and Jinli (near to Tibet Street) and get a feel of the city before we embark.
At 6PM, tuktuks will pick you up at your hotel for a food tour of Chengdu's culinary highlights including Dandan noodles, Chengdu-style wontons, and a stellar selection of local dishes. Come hungry for your introductory world-class course to Sichuan cuisine, and a few toasts with your fellow travelers.
After an 8am departure, there's no better way to start your day than by visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Pandas, which put Chengdu on the map!
After lunch, you'll have time to explore Wide and Narrow Alley. This Qing Dynasty themed maze of alleys highlight local folk culture, courtyards filled with cafes and bars, and local snacks.
After Wide and Narrow Alley, we will travel 30km to a special teahouse that hasn't changed for decades. Experience a staple of Chengdu culture and enjoy a cup of tea with locals and their friends like they have their entire lives.
After grabbing breakfast at this addictively delicious eatery, we'll drive out to the countryside to visit a historical local tea farm. Get the chance to pick your own tea amongst the picturesque terraced tea fields, and learn how to roast and make it yourself.
Visit a fabric-dye studio to make your own handkerchief.
After an early breakfast, we'll visit Leshan's famous Giant Buddha carved into a 71 meter riverside cliff where the Minjiang, Qingyi, and Dadu rivers meet. Learn the story behind how this Buddha allowed an ancient town to trade its culinary specialities with the world by bringing calm to these turbulent rivers. After viewing these wonders, your guide will lead you through a food tour of Leshan's cuisine for a 5-stop lunch that features the best local cuisine.
