Arriving in Sicily. The journey is to accompany you to your hotel. If your flight arrives in Sicily in the morning, you will have free time to visit the center of Palermo with a relaxing walk.

If your flight arrives in the morning, we recommend you a walk in the afternoon to visit the Massimo theater of Palermo. The theatre was built in the last decades of the 19th century in neoclassical style, dominated by a huge dome and a flight of steps with two majestic bronze lions on both sides. After a long closure for restoration works, in 1997 the theatre finally reopened to public. Today it is possible to do guided visits all year round inside the theatre.

The town of Ragusa Ibla is extraordinary even without a festa. Lively and crammed with fascinating sights, this is one of south east Sicily’s finest Unesco-listed towns. At the heart of the town stands the magnificent baroque Basilica di San Giorgio, its portal depicting a carving of San Giorgio on horseback, slaying the dragon. Set atop an imposing flight of steps, the cathedral looks down across a sloping piazza to the start of the town’s classic route for the evening passeggiata. Wander past restaurants, bars and gelaterie along a route intersected by narrow lanes and alleyways bordered by elaborately-sculpted balconies. In Ragusa Ibla there are the best restaurants in Sicily. The best is the Chef Ciccio Sultano restaurant with 2 stars of the famous Michelin guide.
