Escape the standard tourist routes and discover the profound contrasts of Georgia on this curated private expedition. Designed strictly for nature lovers, this journey takes you off the beaten path to reveal two distinct worlds in a single day—far away from the crowds.
Your adventure begins in the lush silence of Tbilisi National Park, where we visit the secluded Martkopi Monastery. Here, you have the exclusive option to take a serene hike through ancient forests, offering a peaceful retreat into nature.
Witness a dramatic shift as we travel to the surreal Rainbow Mountains and David Gareji. Trade the green woodlands for the striking, multi-colored hills of the semi-desert and vast open steppes.
We prioritize your comfort and pace. This is an immersive experience into the wild diversity of the Caucasus, perfectly rounded off with an optional visit to a traditional family cellar for authentic natural wines.
We offer a seamless, door-to-door pickup service from any location within Tbilisi.

Located deep within the Tbilisi National Park, this 6th-century monastery offers profound silence and isolation. Far from the busy tourist trails, it sits atop a wooded ridge. Here, we offer an optional hike through the ancient forest for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the biodiversity of the region. It is a perfect spot for meditation and nature photography.
As we approach the semi-desert, we arrive at the settlement of Udabno. Here, you will witness a startling contrast: vast, lush almond orchards growing in the middle of the arid steppe. We can take a walk along the rows of trees, which offer a "green oasis" effect against the dry horizon. In early spring, these trees are covered in beautiful pink and white blossoms; in summer and autumn, they stand as vivid green lines in the yellow landscape. It is a unique photographic opportunity and a chance to see local life in this remote region.
Located on the route between the forests and the semi-desert, this saline lake provides a scenic pause in our journey. The landscape here is calm and open, offering excellent opportunities for photography. Depending on the season, you may see reflections of the sky on the water or the textured white salt crust of the shore. It is a quiet natural site that adds another layer of geological diversity to your experience.
One of Georgia's most significant historical sites, located on the semi-desert slopes bordering Azerbaijan. We visit the Lavra monastery to appreciate the unique architecture carved into the rock face and the rugged beauty of the surrounding badlands.
A geological wonder hidden in the semi-desert. These multi-colored hills (striations of red, yellow, and mineral green) provide a surreal, "Mars-like" landscape. We take a walk here to enjoy the views and the absolute quiet of the steppe.
On the way back, we can stop at a private family wine cellar in this region. Here, you can taste organic natural wines made in traditional Qvevri clay jars, accompanied by Georgian cheese and warm hospitality.
