We leave Perth heading East to the Darling Range, also known as the Perth hills, through charming townships, national parks and farmland on our way to the historic Town of York, first inland settlement of Western Australia. In York we have a break enjoying a relaxing stroll along the picturesque Avon Terrace, displaying great examples of Victorian and Federation architecture, visit the majestic York Town Hall and Theatre, and the suspended bridge over Avon River.
