    Vashishta Gufa, located about 25 km from Rishikesh on the scenic Rishikesh–Badrinath Highway, is one of the most serene and spiritually significant meditation sites in Uttarakhand. Surrounded by thick forests, towering Inside the cave, visitors will find a naturally formed meditation chamber, dimly lit by oil lamps, creating an atmosphere of deep stillness. The cave is maintained by a small ashram, and the energy inside is known to be exceptionally peaceful — perfect for meditation enthusiasts, spiritual seekers, and anyone looking to escape the noise of city life. Just outside the cave lies a beautiful ghat on the Ganga, ideal for sitting, relaxing, or dipping your feet in the cool waters.
