After the morning breakfast in your hotel, drive in private car for the Sari which is about 200 km from Rishikesh, on the way visit Ukhimath ( winter seat of famous Kedarnath Temple ) and Omakreshwar Shiva Temple, Upon arrival in Sari village check in Homestay and , later in the evening explore Sari Village, dinner & Overnight. Sari Village is Gateway to Deoria Tal, known as the base village and starting point for the easy-to-moderate trek to the pristine Deoria Tal lake. The trek is approximately 3.5 to 4 kilometers uphill and generally takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Location and Altitude: It is a picturesque hamlet, nestled at an altitude of around 2,000 meters (6,600feet). Natural Beauty: The village is surrounded by lush green landscapes and dense forests of oak and rhododendron. It is well-connected by road, approximately 13-15 kilometers from the town of Ukhimath. It is often a base for trekkers combining the Deoria Tal trek with the famous Tungnath and Chandrashila trek,

Deoria Tal Lake
The day trek to Deoria Tal from Sari Village is a highly accessible and rewarding round trip perfect for beginners and families. Starting from Sari, the trek involves an easy-to-moderate climb of approximately 3.5 to 4 kilometers uphill, typically taking 2 to 3 hours along a well-defined, mostly stone-paved path. The total round trip distance is between 5 and 6 kilometers, requiring about 4 to 5 hours of total walking time. The reward is the emerald-green Deoria Tal lake, famous for offering a breathtaking, mirror-like reflection of the Chaukhamba mountain range. Since the trek is short and manageable, it is easily completed in a single day, allowing trekkers to start in the morning, enjoy the serene lakeside, and return to their base in Sari Village by the early evening. Deoria Tal to Chopta Tungnath ( Highest Shiva Temple ) & Chandrashila Peak

The Road/Trekking Combination Step 1 (Drive): Sari Village to Chopta (Approx. 18 km by road).Time: The drive takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour and is the most common way to link the two bases. The Chopta Circuit (Tungnath & Chandrashila) Once you reach Chopta, the next phase to trek to Chopta to Tungnath Approx. 3.5 - 4 km 2 - 3 hours Trek on a well-paved path to the Highest Shiva Temple in the World ( approx. 3,680 m / 12,073 ft). Tungnath to Chandrashila Approx. 1.5 km 1 - 1.5 hours. The final, steeper climb to the summit (approx 4,000 m / 13,123 ft). The drive from Sari Village to Rishikesh via Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag covers a significant distance (approximately 200 km) and involves mountainous roads, making it a full-day itinerary.
