Get to know three of the most singular Roman vestiges in a single day: the Roman City of Segóbriga, the Lapis Specularis Mines and the giant mosaics of the Roman Villa of Noheda.
We leave at 8:30 a.m. from the Plaza del Conde de Casal, Madrid, accompanied by our guide. Our first stop will be at the Segóbriga Archaeological Park, one of the most important Roman cities in central Spain, which maintains some of its most characteristic parts, such as the forum, the baths, the theater and the amphitheatre.
We continue with one of the most unique attractions in the area, the Lapis Specularis Mines. The Romans exploited this material, which they used as crystal, and distributed it throughout their empire, creating great wealth in the area.
We will have free time for lunch.
We will finish our tour with a guided visit to the Mosaics of the Roman Villa of Noheda, with almost 300 square meters of extension.
