Enjoy a 5 day adventure in what is known as “South Africa’s Eden”. The Garden Route is a lush area of exquisite natural beauty, which stretches along the south-eastern coast of South Africa from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River. This tour offers great variety and a wonderful “sampling” of all that South Africa has to offer: from wine tasting, to African safari, to bungee jumping for the brave (optional extra), exploring the renowned Cango Caves and much more.

Cape Point Nature Reserve Early departure from Cape Town, enjoy the company of your fellow travelers on a scenic drive to Wilderness. We take the magnificent Clarence coastal drive from Gordons Bay to Rooi Els; we continue to Stony Point where we will visit the African Penguin Colony, then enjoy the charms of Hermanus, which offers shore whale watching between July and December, followed by wine tasting at Raka Winery. Once we arrive in Wilderness you will have the evening at leisure. Wilderness has a variety of restaurants for every taste and budget.
Day 2: Wilderness > addo > Jeffery’s Bay After breakfast, we’ll board the bus for a short trip to Kaaimans river where we will embark on a one hour canoeing trip, followed by a scenic drive to Knysna, where we will be visiting the Eastern Head and the Knysna Waterfront, then continue our adventure to Jeffery’s Bay, a renowned South African Surfing Paradise. Overnight in Jeffrey’s Bay Optional activities en-route: ‘Be Touched by an Elephant’ @ addo Elephant Park ± R330/person, Elephant Snack Bucket ± R45/bucket.
Day 3: Jeffery’s Bay > Addo > Jeffery’s Bay Depart at 6:00 am for Addo Elephant National Park, where we will be spending approximately 3 hours on a big 5 safari game drive, on-board our air-conditioned tour bus. Addo Elephant National Park is home to more than 600 Elephants, 400 Cape Buffalo, over 48 endangered Black Rhinos and many more wild animals. Return to Jeffery’s Bay for an evening at leisure. Overnight in Jeffrey’s Bay. Optional activities: Not interested in the Safari Drive, no problem, enjoy the spectacular beach and the town. Jeffery’s Bay offers great activities, such as shopping, beach horse riding ± R400/person, learn to surf ± R250/person 2 hours, sand-boarding, kite surfing, SUP and more.
Day 4: Jeffery’s Bay > Tsitsikamma > Oudtshoorn Explore Tsitsikamma Forest on a hike to Storms River Mouth, followed by a visit at Bloukraans, the home of the highest bungee bridge in the world. Overnight in Oudtshoorn Optional activities: Bungee jumping at ± R1350/person, Ziplining at ± R550/person
Day 5: Sedgefield > Cango Caves > Oudtshoorn > Cape Town We continue our adventure in Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital of the world, where we visit the Cango Caves (Adventure Tour – approximately 2hours), and an working Ostrich farm for one hour tour where you will learn lots of interesting things about the largest flightless bird in the world, then we continue our journey back to Cape Town. Approximate time of arrival in Cape Town is 9:00pm. We recommend that you book your flight for the next day. In case you book your flight on the same day, make sure that you don’t have to be at the airport before 10:00 pm.
