Experience Moroccan culture from the inside out in this immersive, hands-on cooking class in Marrakech. You’ll join local chef Najla in her kitchen, learn how to prepare traditional recipes step by step, and discover the stories and secrets behind Morocco’s most iconic spices and ingredients.
Enjoy a fun, social atmosphere as you cook together, then sit down to a generous, family style homemade meal where you can taste everything you’ve created and connect with fellow guests. By the end, you’ll leave not only full and satisfied, but also with new skills, recipes, and the confidence to recreate authentic Moroccan dishes at home.

What to expect
See below a general itinerary of the class:
You'll meet Najla by a local pharmacy in the old Medina, where you will go out with her to buy the produce for the class (vegetables, meat ...).
Once back in her home, the cooking class will start with a lesson on making traditional Moroccan tea. You'll settle in for tea time and enjoy delicious Moroccan cookies and cakes as you and your host get to know each other.
When done, you will start the cooking class! The menu will consist of a starter, a main course and a dessert (all will be of your choice).
Najla is also more than happy to help you buy any spices, gifts or jewellery, bringing you to where she would buy them, with local prices!
If you're interested in a Moroccan tattoo, Najla will happily give it to you as a gift!
