Sushi is the most Iconic and famous Japanese food. In this course, you will learn home-style seasonal Sushi. The menu is Omakase-style! It is mainly be”Nigiri-zushi”(Hand-formed sushi). It might be changed depending on the seasons and on the market. If you prefer different types of sushi; “Maki-zushi”(Sushi Roll), “Kazari-zushi”(Decorative sushi), “Chirashi-zushi”(Sprinkle sushi), “Oshi-zushi”(Pressed sushi), Character Sushi Rolls etc, please tell me in advance.

Please come directly to my cooking studio at 10:00am. Here is the location: YUCa's Japanese Cooking Studio 2-34-8, Nishiogu, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo, 116-0011 Our studio is located next to the hair salon CoCo. You'll see the "YUCa's Japanese Cooking" curtain as a landmark! See you at the class!

What to expect

In this hands-on sushi class, participants learn how to make traditional Japanese sushi from scratch. The class covers sushi rice preparation, knife techniques, and rolling sushi, while also introducing the history and culture behind sushi.
After the class, participants enjoy a guided tour of a local supermarket to discover Japanese ingredients and everyday food culture.
