Your hosts will take you to a local market and introduce you to regional produce and spices. Then return to your host Reyna's lavish apartment in Versova in North Mumbai. They will show you how to prepare a few dishes and then you will enjoy this creative, healthy take on Indian cuisine together at the table.

What to expect

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. For your guided market tour, visit a nearby local, neighborhood market to learn about the different kinds of fruits, vegetables and spices available. You may even buy a few ingredients at the market for your cooking demonstration. Please note that this is a cooking demonstration, not a hands-on cooking class. In your vegan cooking class in Mumbai join Reyna and Shivalika in their home kitchen to watch them prepare 2-3 authentic Indian dishes, all organic and plant-based. They have creative alternatives for every ingredient and can dish out just about any Indian dish without animal products, sugar or oil - and it’s delicious to boot! After cooking eat the dishes you learned to cook, eaten with rice or Indian breads.
