A Tokyo native, Yasue looks forward to sharing authentic cuisine and stories about Japanese culture with you. She will teach you to cook 4-5 delicious Japanese dishes from scratch, before you sit down to enjoy what you've prepared at a beautifully set table in her luxury apartment in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, that is on a hillside with a view of the ocean from her window. Come experience Yasue's creative, interculturally-inspired cuisine in her beautiful home with a phenomenal view of the city and leave with fond memories of this enriching culinary and cultural experience!

Meet Yasaue directly at her home in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Her home is a 10-15 minutes cab ride from the east exit ticket gate of Zushi Station on the JR Yokosuka Line. Exact address will be provided upon confirmation.

What to expect

Yasue's gastronomic cooking class includes a wine pairing experience and a meal served on a beautiful table setting with Japanese tableware. Join Yasue in her clean kitchen where you will wash your hands, roll up your sleeves and learn to cook 4-5 Japanese dishes from scratch in a hands-on cooking class. The cooking portion of your experience will last about 1 1/2 hours before you sit down and share the meal you helped prepare with Yasue. Menus are seasonal so Yasue will inform you about the menu for your experience after your booking has been confirmed.
