Join Jolandi in her stunning countryside home surrounded by mountains, vineyards, and wineries to learn to cook authentic South African dishes from scratch. Jolandi is passionate about serving travelers authentic South African and Cape Malay cuisine. Learn South African cooking tips and techniques as you help Jolandi prepare a meal in her home kitchen. You should expect your hands-on South African cooking lesson to last about 1.5 hours. While you cook, Jolandi provides a history of the food you will be eating, for example, the origins of Bunny Chow during Apartheid. After cooking, enjoy South African dishes hard to find in restaurants over engaging conversation with Jolandi and her family. Your meal includes a wine pairing of local South African wines!
