What to expect

This is a unique opportunity to enjoy a private market tour and cooking cooking class to explore traditional Japanese culture and cuisine. After meeting your host at the Senju-Ohashi station, you will take a 10-min bus ride together to the Adachi fish market. The Adachi fish market is the second largest wholesale fish and seafood market in Tokyo. It is where the locals usually shop, here you will see a wide variety of tuna, fresh fish and shellfish as well as salted and dried sea products (salmon, dried fish, roe).

After the market tour, enjoy a two hour hands-on sushi-making class. Your host will first demonstrate the cutting and cooking technique then will let you roll your own sushi. Alternatively, you can choose another cooking class selection if you prefer: tempura, bento, hot pot or Wagyu beef. Please let us know your preference when you book the experience.
