Maria will teach you 2-3 traditional Moroccan dishes from her family recipes. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal together. She fondly remembers her grandmother teaching her family recipes and classics like lamb tagine with cardoon during Maria's school vacation. Maria recently retired and uses her time to pursue her passion for cooking and sharing her culture and cuisine with guests from all over the world. What to expect

Your host Maria picks you up from your Casablanca hotel and brings you to her home kitchen for an authentic hands-on Moroccan cooking experience. Learn to cook family recipes of authentic Moroccan dishes like wild chicken tagine and harira (Moroccan soup) or chickpea and couscous salad during your cooking lesson that lasts about an hour. After cooking, sitting down at the dining table to enjoy the dishes you helped prepare with Maria. Your meal also include other dishes prepared by Maria in advance like pastille (spiced meat pie) and concludes with a sweet dessert.

Maria lives in a modern, luxurious villa in a gated community, in a Casablanca suburb. She welcomes you with Moroccan mint tea and as you sip on the aromatic beverage, she shares more about life in Morocco, its history, culture and cuisine.
