Begin your immersive, private, 3-hour food tour in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter with a warm welcome drink at Hang’s family home, just a five minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. A passionate foodie and storyteller, Hang shares what it was like growing up in the historic Old Quarter, weaving personal stories with culinary history to set the stage for your journey. She will ask about any dishes you're curious to try and tailor the experience based on your preferences. You’ll visit 6 to 8 handpicked food and drink spots, tasting up to 8 local dishes and beverages including traditional Hanoian specialties, street snacks, local beer, and off the eaten path favorites you might not find on your own. Along the way, Hang brings each dish to life with insights into how it’s prepared, its role in Vietnamese family life, and shares fun stories and a lighthearted food quiz exploring regional differences in Vietnamese cuisine.
