Remmy started the Eco Camp (located 150 km from Dar es Salaam and 45 km from Morogoro) as a space to accommodate volunteers who came to work on different projects - safe water, education, solar energy, reforestation and health care. It is the perfect place if you enjoy nature, rural life and are keen to learn more about the local communities! The food served at the camp is organic, they use fruits and vegetables from their own garden, whenever possible. Start your experience with a tour of the local market to buy a few ingredients. Then join Remmy and his family in the cooking area for your community cooking class, where you will prepare three dishes in a 2-hour class. After cooking, sit down to share the meal you helped prepare.
