What to expect

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. This experience will take place in Nohad’s beautiful stone home, which is quite common to see around Lebanon. You will walk with Nohad to her home garden to collect fresh vegetables, that will be used to prepare the dishes which you will cook together, in Nohads’s bright and cozy kitchen. Also, visit her small farm where she has rabbits and chicken, before starting your cooking class. Nohad will teach you how to make a salad - either fattoush or tabbouleh, and kibbeh (ball-shaped croquettes, stuffed with minced meat, onions, pine nuts, and spices) or a roasted rabbit dish. This hands-on experience will last for about 1 hour, after which you will be share the meal that you prepared with Nohad and her family (when they are around).
