What to expect

Join your host Kavitha in the galley kitchen of her NYC studio apartment and learn to cook a traditional Indian meal from family recipes that she has perfected. Your hands-on vegetarian Indian cooking class will last about 2 hours, during which you will learn to cook three dishes from scratch. Some of the dishes you might learn to cook are daal (spiced lentil soup), paneer makhani (Indian cheese in a creamy sauce) and south Indian vegetables or basmati pilaf with spices and herbs.
