What to expect

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. You will be welcomed by Chiara into her beautiful home ideally situated close to the Colosseum to end your day with some delicious home-cooked food! Relax in her living room with a glass of prosecco or cedrata and an appetizer such as pizza romana with buffalo mozzarella, while Chiara gives you a brief introduction to Roman food and culinary traditions. Join Chiara in her kitchen and learn to make traditional Italian food in a hands-on cooking class followed by the meal that will last about 3 hours. You will be given printed recipes and Chiara will briefly introduce you to each dish before you start your cooking class. Learn how to make classic Italian dishes such as handmade pasta, tomato sauce, scaloppini (a meat dish), and tiramisu. After the class you will move to the dining room to feast on your delicious Italian meal!
