The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is popular for its stunning rhododendron forests, breathtaking mountain views, and rich cultural experiences. This trek is considered one of the easier and shorter treks in Nepal, making it ideal for beginners or those with limited time. Despite its lower altitude and shorter duration compared to other Annapurna region treks, it offers incredible mountain vistas and a glimpse into traditional Nepali life.

While the trek is relatively easy, there are challenging sections, such as the staircase to Ghorepani, which consists of 3,300 steps, along with rocky and uphill paths.

    Drive from kathmandu to Pokhara

    Our guide will pick you from hotel to bus station. You will go together to Pokhara, it will be 6-7 hrs bus drive(200 k.m). You have free time around evening time. Or you can take a flight, it will be a 30 min flight. (it will be an additional cost)

    Pokhara to ulleri

    From Pokhara, it around one hour drive to nayapul. After that, you will be passing away through bank of of modi koha for a while till brethanti. after that hike to hile, tikhedhunga and all step climb up to ulleri.

    From Ulleri, the path is a gentle ascent and we pass through rhododendron and oak forests to be in Banthanti. A couple of hours from banthanti and we will reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani stay is popular for the Poonhill hike which presents a spectacular view of the sunrise and a superb panoramic view of the annapurna and dhulagiri mountain ranges.     Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m/1.5 hours) and trek to Tadapani. (2660m/4 hours.)

    Poon Hill

    Today is a special day of our trekking. Early morning hike to Poonhill for about an hour. Poonhill is the place which offer wide range of Himalayan Panorama of Manaslu, Annapurna & Dhaulagiri mountain range. The sunrise over Himalaya is unbelievable. After having great time Poonhill, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then continue our trek to Tadapani for overnight.

    Old Gurung Museum

    Today is your short hike on your trip, it would be around 3-4 hr hike to ghandruk. Ghandruk is one of the historical place because Gurkha's solders. Visit around there, they have gurung museum. over night in guest house.

    trek to nayapul and drive to pokhara

    Today you have to hike to nayapul, it will be around 5 hrs hike. Today first part was decent around couple of hour and keep continous on a road till Nayapul. You take car from nayapul to back to pokhara.

    Drive back to Kathmandu. (1350m/6.5 hours.)

    Today will be your long drive to ktm (6-7 hrs0 by tourist bus. Tonight we will have farewell dinner in Kathmandu. over night at hotel.
