Join me as I take you on a local's tour of the streets of Hoechst, discovering the winding medieval laneways, the famed half timbered architecture and Hoechst's endless historical buildings. Since 1972, this town, one of the oldest districts in Frankfurt, has been preserved as a site of historic interest. A trip not to be missed when you come to Frankfurt.
We will meet in front of the Dalberg-Haus to start our fun express walk together!
We start our journey at the old city fortification walls, still standing strong and this beautiful castle is not to be missed.
This is a weekly fresh produce market held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with a serene, authentic vibe beloved by locals.
Next up we'll view the oldest church in Frankfurt - dating back to 830.
We will then take in the picturesque Bolongaro Gardens and Palace.
Wandering through the streets of Hoechst, we'll make our way to the oasis that is the city state park.
