What to expect

This is the ultimate one-day trek, blending Himalayan panoramas with profound spiritual heritage. Your journey begins at 8/9:00 am as you drive to the ancient Newari town of Dhulikhel. After a short, invigorating hike through a forest, you'll reach the Kali Temple. At the "selfie stone" viewpoint, pause to capture breathtaking, unobstructed views of the snow-capped Himalayan range.

From here, your 3.5-hour trek unfolds like a living postcard. You'll walk through terraced fields and authentic Nepali villages, witnessing a traditional way of life that has existed for centuries.

The trail culminates at Namo Buddha, one of the three most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the Kathmandu Valley. Here, you'll explore the magnificent Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery and see the legendary stupa marking where a young prince famously offered himself to a starving tigress. This hike doesn't just offer fresh air and stunning views—it brings you peace of mind and a deep connection to Nepal's culture.
