The 16 days Mount Everest Base Camp Kala Patthar trek (approx. 90 KM walking distance) is a private trek and most plumbing voyage or travel adventure trekking holiday destination in the Himalayas of Nepal. The Everest private trip is based on full board in trekking part including Kathmandu hotels and teahouse in the trek, all necessary pickup drops, permits, domestic flights and crews for the trek. Mt. Everest base camp Kalapathar trek is recommending for experienced trekkers and not recommended for a child, elders and disabled.
Planning to this trek must be well prepared in advance with full of trekking equipment. Able to face the challenge of Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS), snowfall, any natural calamities, etc. Lukla flight may chance to get flight cancellation or delay due to technical problems or weather conditions. We pick up our travelers from any hotels, airports and bus station in Kathmandu.
Namaste and well come to the Himalayan territory of Nepal. As you land up at the Tribhuvan International Airport our agent welcomes with your name and guides you to shift to your hotel in the capital city. After getting refreshed we will give a briefing about the program in your hotel lobby and prepare for next day adventure. Evening 7 pm takes you to welcome dinner at a typical Nepalese restaurant with Cultural programs and overnight at the hotel.
Early morning you will be shifted to the domestic airport to fly to Lukla (height: 2,800 m/ 9,186 ft). After 35 min scenic flight to Lukla airport, the ushers will short out and distributes the loaded luggage to be carried by the droghers. Droghers will arrange the lunch venue relying upon the time of arrival at Lukla. The hike commences with some scenic views of Number Himal and Mt. Phari. Advancing on to Phakding is passing Sherpa farm burgs. We trail to Dudh Koshi river with a gadwall aim from Thado Koshi, where you can take a rest to have lunch enjoying a beautiful view of Kusum Kanguru (Height: 6,369 m / 20890 ft 0 at the crossing of a short suspension bridge. From here after a short ascend it bring us to Ghat Village, and after another 1/2 hours of gradual walk, we reach Phakding village for the overnight stay at the lodge. On the first day, we will be walking for 4-5 hours.
Begin your Everest adventure with a scenic trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant gateway to the Khumbu region. The 5–6 hour hike is filled with natural beauty, cultural encounters, and unforgettable Himalayan vistas — a perfect blend of challenge and charm on the Everest Base Camp trail.
You may have a full day off today for acclimatization. If it’s Saturday you can stroll around the bazaar call Hat, and perhaps get a chance to see many people shopping to fulfill their daily requirements at only one market in the Vicinity. You can also visit a Sherpa Museum, which is a great place to enhance about Sherpa culture and the history of Mountaineering or take visit up to the luxury Everest View Hotel and Syangboche airstrip before strolling back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
This day we enjoy a fairly easy walk onwards. Our trek follows to sans a skipping some splendid views of the great giant snow peaks of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde. We come down to Imajtse river at Phungi-Thanga, a small agreement with the pair of the tea house. The trails then lead uphill through the forested way of silver fir, blue pines, rhododendron, magnolia and birch trees reaching Tyangboche after a total of 4-5 hrs of ambling. This is one of the most beautiful places in the Himalayas. The first thing that will catch the glimpse of your eye is the huge monastery or Gumba, that is guarded by large fields of with campsites, teahouses and lodges snuggling below the towering of majestic summits with the likes of Ama Dablam, Everest, Mt. Lhotse and Lhotse Shar.
Today’s trek takes you through lush birch, fir, juniper, and rhododendron forests as you ascend towards Deboche (3,650 m), passing the iconic long mani wall along the way. Continue gradually uphill through Pangboche village before entering the scenic Imjatse Valley, arriving at Dingboche after 4–5 hours of trekking. Dingboche offers panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and the trekking favorite Island Peak (6,189 m). The village is a picturesque patchwork of stone-walled fields growing barley, buckwheat, and potatoes, protected from cold winds and grazing animals. With cozy tea houses and friendly locals, Dingboche serves as a gateway for adventurous routes to Chukung, Makalu region, and beyond via Sherpani Col (6,100 m) and Amphu Laptsa Pass (5,780 m). A perfect blend of natural beauty, Himalayan vistas, and Sherpa culture.
Today we will take a rest just to get used to at Dingboche valley. You may have an entire day rest or there are some places where you can go for a daily stroll to Chukung 4,730 m which is advantageous and takes approximately 3- 4 hours from Dingboche towards east within the Imjatse Valley, although the trek is gradual, nevertheless you feel the thin air as the altitude rises slowly coming towards Chukung. At Chukung there are few teahouses skipping splendid view of the snow-capped summits and Glaciers of Lhotse, Amadablam and Imja Glacier, Chukung dale is the best agreement in eastern Khumbu region. After enjoyment, we stroll back to Dingboche for an evening stay.
Today the trail veers towards the north. The path is gradual up for about an hour as you come to a Mani-prayer stupa, from here the trail is mild on the hard lea looking down below the Pheriche burg and today’s walk grants beautiful view of the superb mountains. After a pleasant walk through the lodge, we will reach Thukla an hour sheer up brings you to the top, where you can view Mt. Pumori and other summits to the west of Everest. The spot here is a good place for a few minutes of the interval after a tough ascend and high to this spot you can also see a number of the memorial of the unlucky monument climbers who lost their lives during expeditions around the mountainous region. Our trek continues to Lobuche an hour for the overnight stoppage.
Today we’ll be walking in the early dawn towards Gorakshep. After a couple of hours of walking in a windy and rocky path, we will reach our destination Gorakshep for our overnight halt. This lags offer the beautiful view of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse, and other peaks, Everest Base camp, Kalapathar and below Gorakshep valley, including Everest top of the world. After the hotel check our adventure prolong towards Everest base camp (5,360m/ 17,598ft) and to the Khumbu icefall, the path from Gorakshep can delusive following the lead Sherpa. Every year the trail alters due to the movements of the glacier, the stride is quite tough because of the high altitude and thin air. The walk passes through rocky dunes and moraines and streams, till you reach the camp. E Everest Base camp is vivacious with burling during the high expedition season. It takes 2-3 hours to get to base camp and after a majestic time here we recode the journey back to Gorakshep for the overnight halt at the hotel.
Early morning we commence sheering to the Kalapathar, which takes 2 hours walking on our own pace. After reaching the top you feel lucent as you achieve the moment that you been craving, since the genesis of the journey. Top of Kalapathar is a small rocky summit on the southwest reef of Mt. Pumori, the scene from here is beyond imagination as the Everest looks wonderful, the vistas from this spot is something to relish and you feel it’s worth the hard Khumbu Glacier brooms below you, and at the same time, you can also view the Everest Base camp down below the moraine of Khumbu Glacier and a lot of picturesque views, strolling back to Gorakshep for breakfast as we walk nicely easy down to Pheriche for the overnight stay. It takes 4-5 hours to plod down and during the tread, you may get a wind blowing so it’s better to start off early. Pheriche has Himalayas Rescue Association and visits there any time after b3 pm. We stay overnight at the lodge or motel at Pheriche.
This day the plod will be easy as heading downhill to tower altitude from Pheriche the tread is pleasant and all the way to Tyangboche. After reaching Pangboche village we forward down to Tyangboche, which is one of the most beautiful places in the Himalaya. The first thing that comes to your eye is the big Gumba or Monastery, the large field with campsites and tea houses, motels, below the towering grand beautiful peak of Amadablam, Everest, Mt. Lhotse and Lhotse Shar towards the northeast and many peaks surrounding all around you.
Trekking down to Phungithankas we will have a small settlement with a couple of teahouses. The trail leads downhill through the forested road of silver fir, blue pines, rhododendron, and some few magnolias and birch trees with a great souvenir and crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi river hike to Sasana and return back to Namche Bazaar for the overnight stay.
After a long walk today we’ll have long and last day trek back to Lukla. Firstly, we descend the long way before crossing the bridge and walk further to Monju and then Phakding for Lunch.we hike back enjoying the lush green scenery in and around passing through the unbelievable mountain scenery and local Sherpa burg. After lengthily walking for 7-8 hours we will arrive Lukla and you will have time to stroll around the areas and escorts will re-confirm your air ticket and will enjoy the last supper celebrating with the crew member overnight at hotel.
The flight to Kathmandu is scheduled for morning normally due to the blowing of the wind in the afternoon. Sometimes the time of the flight can be delayed due to bad weather conditions and other possible reasons beyond our command. Anyway, we’ll fly back to Kathmandu and your usher will guide transfer you to the hotel. You may have the time to unwind yourself with ease after a long journey and take a breath and rest at your hotel or motel ending your Himalayan Journey with us.
This day we book if the flight gets canceled then not to miss the International flight. If we already fly then it may have a pleasant day for your and full day in the Kathmandu dale with us on extend your additional trip as sightseeing day in the Kathmandu dale with us on extra cost and gets time to explore Thamel for the last day shopping and for evening we will meet you for the farewell dinner party and overnight stay at the hotel.

If you are departing then we will be transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight departure.
