San Gimignano is a small medieval hill town in Tuscany, famous for its skyline of tall stone towers that earned it the nickname “Medieval Manhattan.” Once a wealthy trading center in the Middle Ages, it still preserves its historic character with narrow cobbled streets, Romanesque and Gothic architecture, and well-preserved city walls. Today, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautiful views, art, and local specialties like Vernaccia wine.
