On our Secret Food Tour: Bologna, we'll provide you with an unforgettable taste experience.
We'll take you to a small trattoria to sample the traditional Ragù alla Bolognese (Bolognese sauce), sample and learn why the authentic Parmigiano Reggiano is so special, sip 8-12-24 year-old balsamic vinegar from Modena, enjoy a carefully selected Charcuterie sampler from Emilia-Romagna and enjoy homemade, fresh pasta is created by Bologna's very own sfogline (pasta-makers).
As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Our Bologna food tour will end in Piazza Santo Stefano (St Stephen Square). If you need any route/directions advice, feel free to ask your guide at the end of the tour.

Our guide will initiate proceedings with introductions, setting the stage for an invigorating exploration of Bologna's dynamic culinary scene. The construction of the palace traces its origins back to the 14th century, and it historically served as the epicenter for the city's economic and commercial activities. A notable feature of Palazzo della Mercanzia is the imposing wooden statue of San Petronio, the patron saint of Bologna, proudly displayed on the facade.
