Explore the trendy and lively Navigli neighbourhood while tasting arancina, one of Italy’s most iconic street foods. As we pass some of Milan’s oldest churches, we’ll stop for a local pride: unique Milanese-style pizza, a fluffy and delicious city staple.
Save room for a traditional Pasticciotto, a golden, flaky pastry filled with rich custard, paired with an authentic Italian coffee and its signature "cremina." We’ll end on a high note with artisanal gelato, crafted with exceptional care and natural ingredients.

The station is named after the nearby Porta Genova, one of the ancient gates of the city walls of Milan.

2Darsena
Darsena is a district in Milan, Italy, located in the Navigli area. It is known for its lively nightlife, trendy bars, and restaurants. 3Naviglio Grande
The Naviglio is a canal system in Milan, Italy, comprised of the Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese. The canals were originally built in the 12th century to connect Milan with other cities and to facilitate commerce. Today, the Naviglio is a popular tourist attraction, known for its picturesque waterways, historic bridges, and vibrant nightlife in the Darsena district. The Naviglio Grande is lined with cafes, restaurants, and bars, and is a popular place for boat rides and walks. The Naviglio Pavese, on the other hand, is a quieter and more rural canal that runs through the countryside.

4Porta Ticinese
A "Porta Ticinese" was already part of the medieval walls of Milan (12th century); the medieval gate is one of the few remnants of the medieval walls that are still in place, and it is located in the same area as the modern "Porta Ticinese", but closer to the city centre (as the medieval walls enclosed a smaller area than the Spanish walls). The current location of the gate (in a plaza that is now called "Piazzale XIV Maggio") was established during the Spanish rule, in the 16th century.
