Our Tour will end at Baumwall (Elbphilarmonie) U-Bahn Station, 20459, Hamburg, Germany.
You will start at the entrance of Hamburg Central Station Wandelhalle, 20099 Hamburg, Germany, this is also known as the Spitalerstrasse Entrance. Our guide will have an orange umbrella and a huge smile.
Your guide will greet you and introduce you to your culinary adventure across Hamburg.
The journey of a Hamburger starts with a Frantzbrötchen - A cinnamon pastry baked with a large choice of ingredients from chocolate, to marzipan without forgetting the oh so German Kirsch cherry. As you enjoy your Franztbrötchen you will learn of the story of this delicacy along with the story of the station
We make our first stop at a restaurant where you will experience our delicious Secret Dish accompanied with a beer or a soft.
On the way to Town Hall we will take an Hamburger to go and enjoy it with a view on the Binnenalster lake and its famous Alster Fountain.
We will then walk past many of the key landmarks of central Hamburg, the Town Hall and the canals.
Walking past the iconic ruins of this church, bombed by Allied forces during Operation Gomorrah in 1943, an elevator allows you to get a vantage view of the city.
After sailing though the canal streets get rewarded by a fish nugget and its remoulade sauce. Now is the time for freshly brewed ristretto or expresso (single or double) accompanied by the local cookie will bring you warmth and energy for the rest of our journey.
Starting with a sweet and finishing with a sweet, we bring things full circle with a grand classic, the tasty RoteGrutz dessert, red berries jelly served on a vanilla flavoured cream or rice pudding
