On our Secret Food Tour: Toronto, you’ll explore two of the city's most iconic and authentic neighborhoods - St. Lawrence and the Distillery District. Lose yourself in the storied halls of the St. Lawrence Market, a must-visit destination for foodies that was established in 1803 and is one of the city's oldest landmarks. Here, you will taste some of Toronto's best culinary offerings and immerse yourself in the local food culture.
From there, you’ll venture onto the Distillery District, a pedestrian-only area that boasts charming cobblestone streets and beautiful Victorian-era buildings. This district was once the largest distillery in the world and has since been transformed into a hub for arts, culture, and entertainment.

Established in 1803, this historic marketplace has been the city’s culinary heart for over 200 years and is consistently ranked among the world’s best food markets. Located in the Old Town district, the market is a vibrant hub where locals and visitors alike come to explore an incredible variety of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and authentic Canadian delicacies. Inside, you’ll find over 120 vendors offering everything from farm-fresh cheeses, meats, seafood to international specialties & gourmet treats. One of the highlights is the famous peameal bacon sandwich, a true Toronto classic that has become a rite of passage for visitors.
