What to expect

Meet up.

[10:15 – 10:30] Meet up with your guide in downtown Hangzhou. Depart for Mount Mogan.

Arrive. Plog the trail. Lunch. Mountain peak lookout.

Arrive in the colorful Mogan fall-time foothills. Get your plogging gear. Begin the plog, moving up the mountain on the wild back-trails locals use.
[12:30] Plog along the trail until we reach the affluent mid-mountain neighborhood of Yin’shan street. Eat a homestyle restaurant lunch. See gorgeous private mountain villas.

Mountain peak lookout trail. Luhua Dang gardens and villas. ‘Flying Falls’ and ‘Sword Pool’.

After lunch, hike to the mountain’s highest point on the Tashan “Strange Rock” forest loop trail. Admire scenery from the ropebridge and glass lookout platform.
Return from the loop. Descend to the darkly enchanting Luhua Dang gardens. See more stunning mountian forest villas.
Make the final pass to the ‘Flying Falls’ and ‘Sword Pool’. Learn the legend behind the mountian’s name – the story of man-and-wife swordsmiths Gan’jiang and Mo’ye - forgers of the legendary twin blades.

Tally plog haul. Return to Hangzhou.

Regroup off the mountian and tally up our trash haul.
Board transport and return to Hangzhou.
