Day 1
Colombo - Waikkal

Arrive in Sri Lanka, greeted by your chauffeur guide with orchid garlands & a bottle of wine and transferred directly to Waikkal where you can relax and unwind on one of the island’s world-class beaches. On arrival at the hotel, you will be served with a welcome drink & escorted you to Flower decorated room.

Late evening, you will arrive and board a beautifully decorated ferry to embark on your romantic dinner. The ferry is lit with natural lanterns as you glide around 300-500 meters at a low speed along the scenic river. Surrounded by mangrove vegetation, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you are served by a personal butler, a chef and a ferryman. You can select any of the three specially designed 4-course dinner menus with a choice of seafood, meat or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties. A bottle of sparkling wine is served to complement your dinner and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

Negombo Lagoon
After a tasteful breakfast, you will proceed to do a lagoon fishing tour in Negombo. This is an ideal day trip through the buzzing local fish market of Negombo. You can buy fresh fish for lunch, explore the mangroves by boat, do some fishing and experience how local fishers carry out traditional fishing. Then take a catamaran ride and have a picnic lunch on an island with grilled seafood where you were live cooked.

Day 3

After breakfast you will be taken by TukTuk to Muthurajawela wetland. Proceed with bird watching tour by boat. Extending over 6,000 acres and over 29,000, and rumored to provide home to over 40 species of migratory and 85 indigenous bird species. Mangrove forests that line the footpath are great places to observe birds as well as baby crocodiles and fiddler crabs.
