Madu River Safari by Buddhi
After breakfast, you will be driven to Balapitiya where you can enjoy a boat ride in Madu river. MaduGanga is famous for its unique mangrove vegetation lines and caves. In this boat trip, you can see kraal-fishing constructions and fishermen making their way in rowing boats to collect their day's catch. Worship at temple island, fish therapy and visit to a cinnamon island are some of the activities you do during this boat ride.

Turtle Hatchery Hikkaduwa
Thereon, you will be taken to visit a Turtle Hatchery. Kosgoda is famous for its sea turtle conservation project operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1988 to protect Sri Lanka’s turtles from extinction. Since then it has released about 3.5 million baby turtles into the sea. The hatchery pays fishermen for eggs that they collect at night along the long sandy beach. The hatchery buries the eggs in the sand, and when they hatch around 50 days later the baby turtles are released.

Today, enjoy a guided cycling tour through the charming city of Galle and its historic Fort.
