Ella - Belihuloya

After breakfast, you will be driven to start a memorable trekking tour to Bambarakanda Waterfalls. This exciting trekking tour brings you to the highest waterfall of Sri Lanka passing through some small mountain villages and valleys. Bambarakanda is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka with a sheer drop of a 263 meters. The area around Bambarakanda is rich with scenic beauty, rugged terrain,waterfalls, tea fields and cool climate making it an attractive destination for nature lovers. This is not a wide waterfall but drops as a thin line from a rocky outcrop. After the trekking, you will be transferred to your hotel in Belihuloya (Approx. 1 hr. drive). Spend overnight at Tree House Chalets. Your stay is on Half Board basis.

Belihuloya - Colombo

Today after breakfast, you will experience a trekking tour in Belihuloya. Discover the nature paradise of Belihuloya that offers enormous nature experiences with wonderful photogenic opportunities. This tour will give you a memorable experience in this remote village where you can explore much more than a simple nature lover can experience. You will get to see rice fields, bean and tomato fields and how the farming is done in conventional ways such as conventional water management, planting rice each plant by hand, or harvesting, preparing the fields for next cultivation etc. Also, you may see wildlife such as mongoose, monkeys, chameleons, cows, bird’s butterflies and sometimes even hawks hanging around the hotel and the vicinity. After completing the trekking, you will be driven to Colombo (Approx. 4 hrs. drive). Spend overnight at Mandarina Hotel. Your stay is on Half Board basis.
